Big Wave Variation

Push, push, push. This variation is the other big wave image, flipped over and then filtered and filtered until it gets pretty psychedelic. In the sixties and seventies, when oversaturation and flowing colors were more in vogue, I used to go to surf films and slide shows where the room was full of stoned surfers and wafts of smoke filled the air. I enjoyed those events, and always wanted to convey that visual sense without all the baggage of wracked lungs, bleary eyes and cravings for sweets in the middle of the night.
