Not that much to cover at this point other than too much stuff to cover. I've got working versions of "Psychotropia" and "Equivalents" ready for viewing in the motion graphics section. I'm fine tuning those, waiting to get some input on minimizing the compression artifacts everytime I write the files to disk. It's taken me way too long to get this whole thing up, as I've culled through a lot of accummulated work to come up with representative samples that show a wide range of work and skills. I had to do that and then brush up on my web design skills enough to get something up that isn't completely embarassing. This site ain't great, but it's cool for now. Next version will be more skillful. Only so much time in a day and room for so much info in the cranium. I'll fine tune this as time permits and for my next efforts, I'm working on creating some motion graphics pieces to convey my theories about art, design and digital technology in accordance with the ideas I've outlined in my book, which is another link on this segment of the site. The book is missing the last three or four chapters because I've been putting my theories to practice before I completed the book, to make sure I'm not just babbling for the gabbling sake. I'm sure in this section I should be putting in a blog, and I'll get to that soon enough, just one thing at a time. With all that I've got going, I'll just put some stuff up here from time to time and deal with the blog slog setup at another time, as I doubt anyone's going to read it. Actually, if you cruised through the site and got to this page, drop me a line and let me know. If you're really motivated, let me know what you think, about most anything you like. pw |
